Also available are rainforest walks, rice field trekking, cooking class and spiritual temple visit.
During the retreat there will be daily early morning Yoga classes taught by Swami Muktibodhananda Saraswati, which will be a therapeutic style of gentle Hatha Yoga to relieve stress, gain flexibility, heal the body, or perhaps to improve your energy. You can use Yoga for all these purposes but apart from the purely physical effects Yoga is also designed to help you create a unique inner journey of self-development allowing your Divine inner beauty to shine.
The word Yogaoriginates from the Sanskrit word literally meaning ‘union’. The underlying purpose of Yogais to not only create a flexible and balanced body but to also join in union the Infinite Self, Pure Consciousness, God, or whatever you call it, while quietening the mind.
There will also be daily Sacred Mandala / Yantra workshops taught by Maia Padma where you will tap into the Divine Within. We will be working with Yantras for meditation practise and also creating a Divine Within Mandala. Open your heart and mind to your Inner Divinity, your Goddess Within. Explore your inner self, the sacred part of you using meditation, intent, ritual and Mandalas / Yantras.
Traditionally Mandalas, Yantras and Meditation have been used as a focus to draw the mind inwards where you can access your search for completeness, self-unity and Inner Divinity helping to create a profound rebalancing within. Mandalas and Yantras are an offering or a message from your soul allowing insight about yourself and your desire in life. Once we have insight into our deeper self we can move forward in sacredness and reverence on our journey.
No artistic experience or ability is required as instruction will be given. Just be there with an open mind and heart ready to find the deep beauty within yourself.
During our time in the mountain retreat, Sang Giri, we will be surrounded by seven sacred mountains and will be doing early morning daily Qigong sessions on the deck watching the sunrise. You will be taught by Maia Padma how to utilise the natural energy source of the Universe, Chi or Prana, throughout your body so that you are revitalised and energised.
The invisible energy surrounding us is the breath of life to all beings and all of nature—that of air, sunlight, and water. Cultivation of Chi is deeply rooted in nature, the Earth, and the universe surrounding us. When you purposely cultivate and enhance your Chi or Prana you are accessing and circulating healing energy throughout your mind, body and spirit. In this way you can reclaim your energy, heal from dis-ease, and move towards self-transformation.

Qigong Healing Energy
Qigong is a mind, body and spirit healing technique used by the Chinese for thousands of years. Qi is energy, just as Prana or Ki is for other cultures. Gong means to cultivate, practise or work, so Qigong simply mean energy cultivation. Qi is our innate energy system within and also comes from nature. The early Chinese studied nature, it’s rhythms, plus animals for clues as to how to enhance their own energy and came up with a system to heal and energise the body, mind and spirit. The invisible energy surrounding us is the breath of life to all beings and all of
The invisible energy surrounding us is the breath of life to all beings and all of nature—that of air, sunlight, and water. Cultivation of Chi is deeply rooted in nature, the Earth, and the universe surrounding us. When individuals purposely cultivate and enhance their Qi they are accessing and circulating healing energy throughout their mind, body and spirit. In this way you can reclaim your energy, heal from dis-ease, and move towards self-transformation.
There are many types of Qigong taught—static and flowing. All have different effects but the same outcome—increasing your energy, creating health within, and allowing the mind to become more harmonious, thereby creating a life full of joy and wonder.
A Qigong workshop is now available with Maia where you will learn Qigong. Maia studied Qigong in China and also became a Qigong student / disciple of Master Dong, Yu Lan, Hunan Province, China in 2001.
This Qigong is quick and easy to do every day to increase your energy, health, and well-being as well as your inner joy. Come along for a morning of healing energy, tapping into the energy of the Universe and nature.

Nurturing & Nourishing your Energy with Art Therapy
I have been doing art since high school, worked as an airbrush artist, studied watercolour painting, acrylic painting, Mandalas and Chinese Brush Painting.
For the past 17 years I have used techniques with art to rid myself, and others, of negative emotions, such as anger, frustration, etc, as well as opening up to new passions in life.
Come along and learn some techniques to nurture, nourish and enhance your energy so that you can cope with life’s demands, emotions and challenges while bringing peace of mind.
We will be working with art therapy using techniques to help release your emotions & feelings—if you can draw a line (even a squiggly one), or make an abstract idea such as this picture, you can do art therapy, you don’t need to be an artist, so don’t be worried!
These techniques you can use at home easily and will help you to resolve personal conflicts & emotional issues as well as showing you your passion in life, whatever that may be (not necessarily a passion for art), while having fun and bringing peace of mind.
